Continual Improvement

The organisation has implemented a bespoke 7S system to manage its business.

This comprises the core 5S system, namely, sort, set, shine, standardise and sustain, together with safety and solutions for industry.

The 7S system aims to drive out waste from the manufacturing process and determines the organisation of work space for efficiency and effectiveness: Importantly improving the bottom line by enhancing products and services, and lowering costs.

Developed in Japan it is one of the techniques that enabled Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing, cellular manufacturing, total quality management (TQM) and six sigma initiatives.

The 7S system ultimately aids the organisation in continual improvement of its operating efficiencies, safety and growth within the market place.
